This is a review of the beach, not the restaurant and sun bed providor.
The establishment looks amazing but I did not go there 2/3 of the beach are open access. 1/3 of the beach is the restaurant and sunbed set up in the middle. Given the cleanliness of the beach compared to some other, still absolutely beautiful beaches on the cap, I expect the restaurant does a lot to keep it looking pristine. The food and beverage offerings also looked amazing but are priced accordingly. But again this is just a review of the beach
Paloma beach is very hard to get to with limited parking and you most likely need to walk part of the way. on the way you get beautiful views of the Mediterranean, and beautiful views of the beach. When you arrive, you need to walk down about three flights of stairs, which are completely accessible for anybody who is OK to walk three flights of stairs.
Like most beaches in the area, this beach is a combination of large pebbles and course sand. The hearty will be comfortable walking barefoot, but most people, even the instarati influencers prefer to wear water shoes while walking the beach or getting in and out of the water. It’s a beautiful beach as the picture show. Not sure how crowded it gets on the weekends or in the heart of summer. This is early July on...
Read moreThere was a sign saying the beach was closed due to some construction on the cliff wall (workers were there from 11am I think). It doesn’t look that safe to walk down the stairs to the beach but a quite a few people walked down anyway. I arrived at the beach around 8 am but the sun wasn’t high enough yet to hit the beach - best time was after 10am. But very early was pretty empty and most people arrived closer to 12pm. I was expecting it to be more packed as I heard it would be on tiktok but it was pretty chilled. It is a beautiful beach! And if you walk over to the end of the ‘sand’ you will get to a small jetty. I stayed there by myself for a couple of hours, away from people and it was amazing. There is a shower to wash off.
I walked here from beaulieu-sur-mer, pretty easy walk mostly shaded early in the morning and it took...
Read moreVery nice beach. Made out of pebbles mostly. Busy as hell because it's a small beach, but water is not too crowded. Early in the morning the water is crystal clear, in the afternoon not so much because there's a lot more people in it but still, go 15m from the shore and water is clear again. I didn't see any jellyfish and I snorkeled. Access to the beach is probably the only bad thing, 40-50 steep steps, good luck if you have a child and a child stroller like i did. The biggest plus probably is the view.
EDIT: Second day - jellyfish everywhere, literally! Third day a bit of seaweed in the morning and jellyfish. Fourth day seaweed so you can't see the water .
All in all we apparently had luck and had one perfect, crowded but perfect day at...
