Mademoiselle St Jean Cap Ferrat — Restaurant in Nice

Editing to add after the restaurant response that makes this even more concerning: They stated that I had a bathing suit and sandy feet which is a complete lie!? We were no where near sand and had just parked and ran to the reservation. We also had no intention of being on the beach that day as we had plans for her birthday after brunch. Last but not least, I gave them the same name twice and that is the name the reservation was under in the email so their comments back were entirely made up.

So upset with this place. Had a reservation for Sunday September 21st at 12 PM for my daughter’s first birthday. The server came over and tried telling me he didn’t have a reservation for us. Then when I showed them my reservation he told me they do have that reservation but we just can’t come in. So he initially tried lying and making me feel stupid. They then tried telling me I needed to put shorts on and when I showed I had shorts on he said they weren’t long enough. I am by no means wearing any shorts that aren’t long enough. They were not revealing in any way. Not sure if having a baby caused the issue but the commentary from the staff was repulsive. Right before us, they accepted a walk-in (no reservation) from a local that had on a shorter dress than me. In my reservation notes, I put “it’s our daughter’s first birthday :)” & it was completely disregarded. I only give positive reviews and it takes a lot for me to write a negative review but please find somewhere else for your business in this...

The service was not great for me, not sure if it was because I was alone. They just kept forgetting me, it was a bit weird. They took the order of a couple that arrived after me first (they were next to me). Took forever to bring out my entrée, even by French standards. After the entree the waiter asked me if I would like dessert or coffee, and I pointed out I’m still waiting for my fish plate. Then asked for my coffee order way after asking others who had arrived way, way later than me. The people that were getting their coffee order first were not there when I arrived. It was frankly so bizarre.

Delicious , Romantic , Casually Chic and Healthy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Every time I visit the area, I visit their wonderful place. Everything is super fresh and clean. My French friends also liked very much their own garden salad and menu overall.
