This is my first ever review and I am so infuriated about what happened today. We sat down and waited for about 15 minutes to be served but saw a group of customers at the counter so we thought we needed to order at the counter. So my husband went to the counter and the bald headed waiter asked my husband where he was from. Then proceeded to say “in France we have something called waiters and they will serve you at your table”. When in fact, we’ve had a mix of being asked to order inside as well as having table service. So thanks for profiling foreigners/tourists just trying to enjoy their vacation. Improve your terrible slow service. Instantly left when I heard what was said. Avoid at all costs. Learn...

I am from the region and this morning I decided to take my family coming from overseas to have a drink and a sandwich à la Civette on Saint Jean I will divide my review in few différents points

1. amazing location
2. the view is spectacular
3. the service is OK, friendly ….nothing special !
4. the worst prosciutto sandwich….dry….no butter… bread terrible!!!!!!!!The croque monsieur so dry omg ! Any house wife will do a much better sandwich !!! Overall the most terrible sandwich I ever try in my life...

Had a late lunch here. There was no swordfish as others have mentioned, but it might have been due to the time of day.

Instead, I had a tuna sandwich with a Grimbergen beer. I would say this place is good value for money compared to the neighborhood it’s located in with villas in the several million euros range.

They also have a large selection of dessert and ice cream, but I didn’t get to try...
