This is where they have the food trucks or "Roulettes" as they are called here. It is a very nicely done place with parking next door, a little hard to come by a spot, but if you can find one it's free! All of the trucks have tables, with cloths, and silverware. they pass out menus, it is not high pressure they just walk up to you and try to hand you a menu. Most of them speak English or, have menus in English. If you order from a couple of different places they don't mind if you sit at the other person's table. They're very helpful if you need condiments or have any issues. Many choices the crepes are awesome, I had veal and rice. my husband had a combo of bacon cheeseburger, fries, a small crepe, and a drink for 15 francs. We purchased two dinners and fed three, and took home leftovers! I never felt unsafe there were a couple of security guards but it was a nice mix of tourists and locals.DO NOT use their bathroom! Trust me. The five-star rating is not taking into consideration the bathroom, lol. Go,...

There were shady looking folks at the bathrooms who may or may not have been trying to sell me drugs (if I spoke French I'd know for sure). The bathrooms themselves are pretty dismal with all of the urinals broken and only stalls available.
The food itself was good and a nice change from a lot of the food offered on the island of Moorea. We had Chinese food with variations of fish included in staple dishes. The servings were massive and I wish that we had ordered to share instead of individual plates ! The crepe place for desert was decent, but not the most...
Read moreGreat food trucks starting at 5:30 PM, nightly. Plan on eating Tahitian or Asian cuisine - you will not be sorry. Bring cash - a substantial, quality meal can be had for USD $15. Bring cash.
The competition is such that almost all the trucks are great in quality, quantity, cleanliness, and taste. The pizza place was disappointing - stick to the Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Tahitian food. The aforementioned Asian cuisines are made by immigrant families and are excellent. The city provides power hookups as well (as a washup building) for the trucks. Everything appears regulated for cleanliness / public health.
There is a public restroom - not well...
