This boutique hotel in the center of Montmatre district is a real gem.
Scrupulously clean and comfortable without the big price tag usually associated with Paris.
The staff go out of their way to accommodate one’s every need including local directions and transport information to other districts in Paris.
The hotel is well situated to take advantage of a close Metro Station Lamark and an even closer Bus line #95 which will take one to St Lazare, L’Opera and onto central Paris. Also Bus #80 to go straight to the Eiffel Tower.
It is surrounded by restaurants, brasseries, pastry shops, wine shops and super markets. All one could ask for as well as the wonderful atmosphere of Montmatre.
Neat and tidy, very friendly and helpful staff. Good location, very close to Lamarck metro station(2-3 minutes walk). 12 minutes walk to Sacré-Cœur. Good value for money. Would definitely stay there again.
My business room was cozy for European standards. The shower was a good size. Basic toiletries like shower gel and shampoo were provided. Towels were clean but on the rough side. Note that the toilet is a bit of a squeeze.
Was pleasantly surprised to see a kettle to make tea.
There is a small elevator (French style) with transparent walls (I liked it).
Hotel check in was easy and we arrived early and staff was able to accommodate me. Had to move on my second night due to heavy noise in the front of the hotel with lots of motorcycles passing by both traffic noises throughout the night and the sound of workmen drilling in the early hours of the morning and garbage collection. The staff graciously moved me to a room overlooking the garden. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if traveling alone. Room is only suitable for one person.
The staff all speak English and are very attentive. Housekeeping services were immaculate.
The breakfast buffet was more than adequate. Breakfast is from 7-10:30am. Delivery comes every morning with fresh baguettes and croissants that were absolutely amazing. They had fresh organic brown eggs that you could yourself boil or they had some that were hard boiled for you. I decided to hard boil them myself since I like them runny in the inside. Set your timer for exactly 4 minutes. They had an assortment of jams, butter, fruit, fresh OJ, tea and coffee. My room came with the breakfast. It is about 11€ if it’s not included. To me, it was well worth it.
There is a PC and printer in the lobby for you to print out boarding passes. I just emailed the hotel to print my boarding passes, museums passes and train passes and they graciously printed them and put them in an envelope.
Most places close by 11 pm, there is always UBER Eats that delivers (Pizza Hut). This was my first time ever in Paris and my 8 nights in this boutique hotel without the hustle and busyness of big chain hotels is just what I needed. Will definitely come back. Next year!!
