Went to La Cigale to see Declan McKenna’s last show of his album launch tour. La Cigale really did this concert justice. It’s a lovely concert hall, nestled in the heart of Paris. It’s known for its vibrant ambiance and exceptional acoustics. What sets this venue apart is its bouncy floor. Yes, bouncy floor! It’s a unique sensation, the floor seems to move with the rhythm of the music and the jumping of the crowd, enhancing the overall experience of the show. This feature, coupled with the venue's excellent sound quality and intimate setting, makes La Cigale a must-visit for any music enthusiast looking for a memorable night out in Paris.

Saw Jimmy Buffett here. Very cool, old style venue with some interesting updates. They have seating in the balcony, but very a very small amount. The main auditorium was standing room, but I understand they put chairs in for some concerts. The floor is special - it flexes to support the crowd weight - and when everyone is jumping, you feel like you are on a trampoline. This was the best place to see Buffett, and I would imagine most concerts would be awesome here. I will come back when I am next in Paris!

we visited la cigale to watch Callexico concert. We liked a lot the atmosphere and the place. The acoustics was also fine and we had a great time. Please keep in mind due to an extensive control to enter it is highly recommended to be there when the doors are open for concerts. All the stuff members were superfriendly and nice. I highly recommend this place, my only suggestion is that the emergency exit, toilet signs were too small to locate easy in a crowded place..

I unfortunately have to write a not so good review because of what happened during the concert I went to assist. The hall was incredibly warm, no AC and no fans, not a single breeze. This caused in the end two of the artists to collapse from the heat. Please address this problem, if not for the audience at least for the artists who go to perform there, who deserve decent working conditions. Apart from that, the view from the audience is actually quite good.

The rest of the family enjoyed their fried chicken and soup but my steak haché tasted really weird, and the fries seemed old... Not mentioning the fact that they did not require the COVID pass (which they should) and staff didn't even wear masks, the hand dryer in the toilets was also not looking great, and the place overall looked worn down, all making you wonder about their hygiene standards. Not going back.
