This was our second trip to Ruinart. We did a tour of the cellars and a tasting in 2022, which was excellent. We returned yesterday to visit the new bar (“Le Bar by Ruinart”) and La boutique, which are both inside the brand new Nicolas Ruinart Pavillon. It’s a beautiful space- super chic without being pretentious, and the service is exceptional. Le bar has many, many champagnes to taste by the glass, or as a two or three glass flight. Our favorite was the Ruinart Brut Millésimé 2010, which is served by the glass from a magnum. It’s is perhaps the best brut Champagne we’ve ever had, and we have sampled Champagnes all over Reims and Epernay. We also highly recommend the Ruinart rosé. The food was excellent … we are both vegan, and Le bar had very tasty cashews and bar bites (hummus and warm bread) that we could enjoy, which complemented the champagnes perfectly. We booked the wrong tour language wise, the woman was helpful and rebooked our tour to the afternoon without making any problems out of it which was very nice.

The tour and our host were excellent, the lady had such a pleasant way of explaining and storytelling what made the tour super nice. As well as her knowledge about champagnes, the region and everything that had got so with the champagne where 10/10.
The tasting champagnes were very good as well and you do get worth of your...

Our guide was on such a engaging storyteller that left me with a renewed appreciation of the brand and the craft of champagne making. The 2 hours tour ended with 2 glasses of champagne, one of them a vintage so you can draw your own comparison.
I won’t recommend to purchase their classic champagne at the store as you can get it cheaper in retails shops outside. Also, be sure to wear comfortable shoes as there will be lots of walking and the fact that you descend 30m below means you’ll have to...
