Church of Saint Eloi — Attraction in Sarcelles

I wondered into a lovely dream like village on the outskirts of Paris. A quaint, quiet, charming, visual delightful, inviting village with a medieval Eglise and an adjacent cemetery. Went inside the church. Music rehearsal was on. Organ player and a women playing the flute. House of God to sit quiet and meditate. Walked in the cemetery. Water some pots which looked dry. Prayed for the departed faithful souls. Went to the village for coffee and crepes and croissants. Its was a dream day. Away from the noise of Paris.

Highly highly recommend visiting Roissy en France village. Its only 20 minutes drive from CDG.

The only disappointment is there were no weekday celebration of Mass . Only Sundays. Being Catholic I would have over attending Mass in this...

Saint Eloi church, built in the 4th century has a gothic feel to it, in the Roissy village of Paris is one peaceful place for sure. The sunlight translating into colourful light due to the beautiful stained glasses of the church leaves you enchanted. It was a peaceful time well spend there. Left relaxed and there was a man playing the organ which added to the whole experience. In sink with the season. Snowy Christmas deco before the snow sets in.
