Bistrot de Paris — Restaurant in Sarcelles

I have never had a more disgusting French onion soup in my life… it is essentially warm onion soup jelly with store bought shredded cheese (yes I can still see the shape of those shredded cheese) and bread hard as a rock. The texture is like congee. Super salty. After I sent it back they brought me a significantly more watery version - I think they solved the salt problem by diluting the original soup jelly with more water… feels like a onion soup from cheap pre-made grocery store soup package although they charged 9 euro for it. I had two sips of the soup and just paid and left. They were unable to fix this issue because (1) obviously they are unable to make real onion soup so there is no way to actually fix the food and (2) it’s restaurant doing airport hotel business so they are not incentivized to fix this or refund my money...

Originally I was supposed to be going to the pizza place down the street but my Uber Driver highly recommended this place instead and man am I thankful that he did!!!! The food was absolutely amazing!!!! Everything from the appetizer to the desert was cooked and prepared to absolute perfection and the taste was unbelievable!!!! The waitress was awesome with a great and warm attitude and a constant smile. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, JC, and he truly takes a lot of pride in making his customers happy. The food is lackluster and the owner, or manager, is incredibly rude. If he wasn't the owner, he sure as hell acted like it. When asked if a simple pasta dish could be done without meat, he curtly scolded "No". And when asked for 2" to go boxes", he angrily exclaimed that we could only have one box, for a 6 party table which only had 2 customers asking for food boxes. I didn't even bother asking for a bag, that would have been a bridge too far, apparently. The party in question was not rooming together, making a one box option undoable. Don't waste your time here.
