Le Friendly — Restaurant in Sarcelles

Such a sad way to spend our last night on such a wonderful holiday. Ordered two pints, a burger, and chicken entree at the bar. Got the points right away. The burger was brought out ~25 mins after ordering (it was mediocre). The chicken never came. My partner went back to the bar to follow it up and he was treated dismissively by the staff…. Only after they looked back at the orders did they see that they missed it. They promised to get on it right away. ANOTHER 25 mins later, staff come to our table to offer us two drinks which we politely declined and we asked for the meal to packed up for take away. Another 10 mins after that we received nothing so we told them we were leaving and walked out. No refund or anything. We were tired and in a bad mood due to this dysfunction. Now we’re at the hotel contemplating room service as only one of us...

Good pub, not the usual "Irish pub", no shamrocks or fake Gaelic welcomes but a genuine pub.

The clientele were mainly locals during the happy hour period which start at 17:00.

Polite staff and clear menus make it easy to get what they have on offer.

Asking for a goats milk latte and Vegan nibbles will get you nowhere, which is fair because I've never had a good steak in a Vegan restaurant.

I was welcomed and soon got into conversation with a regular and felt at home.

The food looked good and many happy faces showed it's value

We did not eat here - we attempted to, but were turned down when we arrived shortly after the opening time, 1630. There was a guy there that didn't seem to want to talk to us at all, on request of the real opening hour, he did a hand guesture like "not sure" and suggested "around five". It says 1630 on the door. The restaurant looks grim on the outside, and with such indifferent personnel to greet you, I wouldn't expect the high Google rating to actually be right. A nice explanation would have gone a long way. Giving three stars instead of one just because we don't know how it is when it is...
