Neues Schloss

The palace is beautiful and very elegant. They give you printed information in German and English, which I find more comfortable than headphones and other equipment hanging on your neck. The staff inside the rooms is very polite and helpful. However the lady at the counter at that day (I visited on 01 Nov 24) was extremely arrogant. Because I am a foreigner, she treated me as a child - leading me to the lockers (just 5 meters away from the counter and hard to miss), "teaching" me how to use them without my single question (and by the way I presented her my Bavarian annual museum card, which should obviously mean it was not my first museum ever)... When I was leaving after visiting the museum, I stopped near the door to fasten my jacket and she ran to open the door for me and bowing and pointing at the door to me with expressive smile (which you always see when officials are eager to get rid of you) and then to the next door specifically instructing me to leave through that door, which I was already heading to. Man! I had never been treated like that in museums so far. Hypocrisy and arrogance are hard to miss.
