Stadtbad Bayreuth — Attraction in Bayreuth

Stadtbad in Bayreuth is an outstanding facility that thoroughly deserves a 5-star rating.

The first thing you'll notice is how clean and spacious it is, creating a comfortable environment for all visitors. The large pool, smartly divided for children and adults, is a fantastic feature, ensuring a fun and safe experience for everyone. Additionally, the two massage pools provide a perfect spot for relaxation. The sauna and fog room offerings are excellent, adding to the overall wellness experience. What's impressive is the thoughtful layout of showers, which are abundant and conveniently placed.

But perhaps the most remarkable aspect is the affordability – just 5€ for a visit, or 3€ if you're a student, which is incredible value for such a high-quality facility. I highly recommend Stadtbad Bayreuth for a refreshing and relaxing experience, whether you're a local resident or a visitor...

I especially love the sauna here. They have two cabins, one with a lower and the other with the higher temperature. There's another steam bath room as well. In between the sauna sessions, you can sit on the inclinable chairs outside the sauna cabins while staring at the arched ceiling, which is illuminated with colorful lights. Zu klein, zu eng…. Nicht nur das Bad an sich, sondern auch die Umkleidekabinen.

Die Böden könnten öfter gereinigt werden. Im umkleidebereich waren getrocknete schuhabdrücke auf dem Boden. In der Dusche und im Bad selber waren ständig Haare auf dem Boden. Da man Speisen und Getränke mit ins Bad nehmen kann, darf man sich nicht wundern, wenn man diese auch verteilt auf dem Boden findet.

Die Tür zwischen Herrendusche und Schwimmbad wurde so ungünstig platziert, dass man vom Bad aus in den Duschraum schauen kann, wenn sich die Tür öffnet…. Sehr indiskret

Der Fahrstuhl ist eigentlich nur für körperlich Eingeschränkte gedacht, wird aber von jedem benutzt. Dieser riecht übrigens stark mach Öl oder Hydrauliköl.

Die Badenmeister laufen im Bad in Turnschuhe und Socken rum, sieht etwas komisch aus und hindert auch bestimmt daran, schnell einzugreifen wenn jemand in Not ist.

Ein Pluspunkt geht an die Behindertengerechte Umkleide und Dusche.
