Wow what a very cool place. The Gaslight lamp Museum, but More like a self guided tour in the park and of course free. Over 90 different style lamps from cities all over Germany. What a gorgeous promenade looking at all the different lamps through the ages. Wonderful walk behind the zoo. I went during the day, so I did not see them all lit up, but all the better to see their details. And some were vandalized but the majority were not. Worth the detour through the park to...

Worth a visit if you are in the area. A lot of lanterns were broken either by time or vandalism but still nice to see how the style evolved throughout the years. Most lanterns have small info plates attached to them for those who are interested in the backstory.

A must visit for those interested in lamps / gas lanterns. Absolutely a SHAME that the lanterns are vandalized and not restored.
