My honest advice to anyone considering organising their wedding party at Fabrik23: Please don't do it, you will regret it very much! Read all the negative comments here first, as they really speak the truth! My wedding party at Fabrik23 was a disaster, so much so that I cried for days after the event. Now instead of having fond memories, I try very hard not to think about it at all as it spoils my mood every time.... Is this what you want for one of the most important days of your life? Despite numerous pre-event meetings/communication at the venue, over phone calls and emails to discuss every detail, NOTHING went as planned during the event. There was not enough food for all the guests and the food was not kept warm. The drinks were not chilled, the tables were not spread out as requested so our older guests could not see our presentation slides, the air conditioning did not work, there were constant technical problems with the projector, microphone and photo box that no service staff could help us with. Can you imagine that they even threw away our wedding cake? The event manager was not present at our party 90% of the time (he was probably at another party that was going on in the building at the same time). The other staff were not informed of anything, so my husband and I had to manage everything and constantly point out to the staff that things were planned differently! Our guests were denied coffee even though we had paid for it and were given incorrect information about food allergens. Even things as simple as the decorations were different (definitely uglier!) than what they had offered us when we had planned the event.... The sad thing is that all of this is just the tip of...

We visited Fabrik23 for brunch and honestly, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences Iâve had in Berlin. First of all, we had to wait in line for 20â30 minutes just to get in â not exactly the start youâd expect for a supposedly âpremiumâ brunch at âŹ49 per person.
Yes, the venue is stylish and the kidsâ playroom was nice, but thatâs where the positives end. The food selection was shockingly small and uninspired. At first, I thought the buffet room was just the starter section, and that thereâd be more to come. But no â that was it. The cold cuts were extremely basic; honestly, I can find much better salami in some Berlin supermarkets. The pasta was served cold (I was told it âused to be hot earlierâ), and by 11:40 much of the food was already gone, as several people told me. What was left felt like the sad remains of a half-hearted attempt at brunch.
Aside from the piglet pork with sauce and the sourdough bread, everything else was basic, bland, and left me still hungry. I can (and do) make better breakfast food at home in a hurry â and for âŹ49 I expected much, much more.
This is not a brunch worth recommending. Itâs overpriced, underwhelming, and feels like nothing more than a polished tourist trap. Save yourself the money and the frustration â there are countless places in Berlin offering far better food for a fraction...
Read moreWe had our wedding in the Werkloft and Mr. Hemingway with about a 100 guests. We could not have imagined it going any better. Coming from the street, you think youâre going somewhere thatâs a bit rundown, but inside the decoration is absolutey beautiful. Cooking for a 100 people is not easy, but it was absolutely delicious. During the event, we barely had to make decisions and could just enjoy, especially because we had a coordinator who was very pleasant to talk with and solution oriented in the few decisions that still had to ne made.
Also our guests loved every part, the location, the decoration, the food and the drinks.
The process beforehand was pleasant and transparent. And also with special food wishes they will think with you.
Of course, throwing a big party does not come for free and I think that based on our initial search that a fair...
