Zum Weihnachtsmarkt in Essen. Die Anreise per S-Bahn war gut. Vom Bahnhof sind es nur wenige Meter. Nur die Straße überqueren und schon geht es los. Festlich geschmückte Stände mit Süßigkeiten, Weihnachtsdeko, Kunsthandwerk, Geschenken und einiges an Gastronomie und natürlich Glühweinstände laden zum verweilen ein. Auch Fahrgeschäfte sind vorhanden. Unter anderem ein Riesenrad. Vom Bahnhof bis zum Kennedyplatz wurde schön dekoriert und viele Lichtinstallationen sind zu bewundern. Auch bei den Ständen des Mittelaltermarktes gibt es einiges zu sehen. Insgesamt fanden wir es super. Einen Besuch auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt in der essener Innenstadt inklusive Kennedyplatz können wir sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. 🎅

Achtung bei dem Nudelstand mit Käseleib. Man bezahlt für die Bestellung und wird vergessen. Wenn man sich dann auch noch falsch hinstellt, heißt es man hätte nicht bezahl, weil sich keiner erinnern kann. Da würde ich vorschlagen einfach mal die Kunden anschauen beim abrechnen! Im Nachhinein wird vorwurfsvoll gefragt? Ob es denn „wenigstens“ geschmeckt habe, weil man einem ja vermeintlich kostenlose Nudeln gegeben habe. Eine Frechheit! Vor allem der junge Mann, der einen dann noch misstrauisch anstarrt beim Essen. Nur nochmal zur Klarstellung: ich habe die Nudeln bezahlt, aber der Appetit ist mir mehr als vergangen!
