If you're Canadian, or have at least tried a real poutine in Quebec or near the province, you know you are bound to be disappointed by their "original" poutine. Just a heads-up: thick-cut fries and vegetarian (?!?) gravy. And nevermind the cheese curds. You know you aren't getting St. Albert's, so you'll have to let it pass.
And by the way, Montreal style smoked meat is not pastrami. Yes, both are kosher deli meats, but (putting it in terms a German would understand) it's like ordering a Krakauer and getting a Thüringer Bratwurst.
