The Bodenseeinsel Lindau you should visit in any case. Both the historic old town and the harbor, as well as the beautiful views of Lake Constance and the Alps are an experience. The best way to explore the island on foot. By train you can also drive directly to the island. (Lindau central station) A beautiful old town that invites you to stroll. If you like more modern, you can go shopping in a mall. There is also a small romantic harbor, with many restaurants and cafes. From which one can see past the lighthouse and the Bavarian lions on Bregenz. From the lighthouse you have a great view of Lindau.....

Magic, style and joy everywhere. When i first saw the lighthouse i felt in my guts that must must travel. I didn’t realize that my dreams has a location on earth. So much beauty and peace with lifestyle that i love so much full of people that are working for living and not living for work. I have never ever slept so deep and well but there . I went there yo study and stayed at the excellent BH . Everything looks like a picture. Go there if you need a sparkle in your life and a reminder that life is magic when you experience moments of peace beauty and kindness.

It was a beautiful day trip! Although the sky was a bit cloudy that day and it had also rained heavily in parts, but there is a great saying that there would be no bad weather, but there are only wrong clothes! The tour around the island of Lindau was just wonderful! In general, the regions around Lake Constance are very beautiful and you feel incredibly comfortable there!

gefährlich zu parken und teuer. Die Insel ist sehr klein und extrem teuer, ein Bier kostet 4,90 € und eine Margarita 12 €, ein normaler Salat 10 € Das Parken ist eine Falle, es gibt keinen Platz zum Parken und sie haben mir eine Geldstrafe von 55 € auferlegt, weil ich an dem einzigen Ort geparkt habe, den ich gefunden habe, und dass ich nur eine halbe Stunde geblieben bin. Als Erklärung sagen sie, dass Sie außerhalb parken müssen Insel zu 3km entfernt. Ich werde nie wieder zurückkommen, Seien Sie beim Parken vorsichtig, es ist gefährlich und den Parkwächtern ist es egal, sie wollen nur extrem teure Bußgelder verhängen. Gleich vorweg: Wenn man mit dem Auto da ist, sollte man das Auto vor der Insel parken oder anderweitig sich um ein Parkplatz kümmern. Wer mal Zeit hat und vorbei fährt, sollte unbedingt die Altstadt und den Hafen hier besuchen. Es ist wirklich toll zum Spazierengehen, besonders bei guten Wetter und man hat einen tollen Ausblick. Auch ein paar historische Gebäude sind mit dabei und wer Hunger kriegt, ist hier auch gut bedient, entweder mit einer Mahlzeit oder vielleicht nur einem Eis am Hafen. Ansonsten gibt es hier noch eine Schifffahrt und eine Zuganbindung. Auf jeden Fall sehenswert und empfehlenswert, ich bin mir sicher den Rundgang wird man nicht bereuen.

Description
Lindau is a town on Lake Constance (or Bodensee) in Bavaria, Germany, known for its old town on Lindau island. The harbor has a Bavarian Lion statue and a stone lighthouse with lake and mountain views. On the harborfront Seepromenade, the 12th-century Mangturm is a former watchtower with a pointed, tiled roof. Near restaurant-lined Maximilianstrasse, the Gothic Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall) has a painted facade.
