Minos beach — Attraction in Municipality of Agios Nikolaos

If you ever visit Agios Nikolaos then I totally recommend staying at the luxurious & beautiful Minos Beach hotel, because right next to the hotel there is a large private swimming pool you could use or if you want you could always swim at the private beach close to your hotel room. There is also a bar inside the hotel as well right next to the hotel located at the Ammoudi beach in case if you ever feel like having a drink or if you feel like socializing with your friends and family members. Lastly the hotel staff are usually very nice and helpful and the hotel rooms are usually organized and clean. I also recommend dining in at the La Bouillabaisse restaurant which is located in the Minos Beach Hotel which by the way it has an amazing view of the bay from a distance. It is a beautiful place that prepares sophisticated, authentic, fresh delicious Italian and Greek seafood cuisine, meat and vegetarian dishes are also available. If you have a sweet tooth I also recommend ordering the tasty desserts. The service is efficient and the waiters are very polite and generous although sometimes they can be slow when it comes to preparing the food that’s, because it usually takes time for them to slowly cook and prepare the highly sophisticated, authentic and fresh dishes. I promise you it is a place worth visiting after many years experience dining in at the La Bouillabaisse for evening dinners I do not remember ever having a bad experience...

From Day One, the staff went out and beyond to give us an amazing experience. They proactively looked for ways to make our stay at Minos Beach more enjoyable and relaxing and we were blown away by the friendliness and service-level.

The resort is stunningly beautiful, the buildings are well-designed, the gardens are incredibly well-maintained, the views are spectacular. We stayed in a superior waterfront bungalow and it had everything the heart desired. The cleaning was spotless and we got fresh towels every day.

All food locations on site are amazing and unique in their own way.As vegans and vegetarians, we loved the fact that there were plenty of options for us to eat as well (also the staff helped us tremendously).

This is a private beach, a detail that everyone seems to miss to mention in their reviews. Therefore you need to know before attending this beach: if you plan to go there and you don’t have an apartment/villa booked, it will be a bit hard to obtain access, but nevertheless you can ask the hotell personall. Regarding the place itself you need to know this is actually not a beach (except a portion of 30-40sqm) but more a converted promenade. The ups: you access water by special placed mettalic staires and, when going out, you will not get you feet full of sand, you’ll walk only on shaped concrete.
