Amoodi — Restaurant in Municipality of Agios Nikolaos

The Beach Club offers sun beds (two sunbeds with umbrellas for approx 13 euro depending on which row you are on). The Beach is really nice and spent a few days there during our week stay. We ate at the beach club one day which was tasty and very reasonable. We also had drinks which you can order from the sunbeds. The staff are very efficient and friendly at both the sunbeds and the club. It's worth noting that you need to get to the sunbeds early if you haven't booked. We didn't know about this so was left disappointed one day but you can book the beds with the manager and once we knew this was so much easier and you can pre book for a certain time so no rushing in the morning. Visited on our holiday, no staff greeted us, had to ask about the sunbeds then was shown after this. We was sat there around 10 mins and decided we wanted a drink so I went to the bar to order drinks and some food, staff couldn’t be less interested. Didn’t even look at me while speaking, came across so so rude. When I went out with the drinks a waiter was speaking really rude to my partner because we didn’t order the drinks through him and went to the bar… it wasn’t explained we needed to wait for out order to be taken. Pretty much all staff apart from one was just rude and snobby . Service was slow Location was beautiful just the staff need to pull the stick out...

Today is our last night in Crete and we will miss so much this place. The beach is magical, is small and intimate, the water is so blue. The beach club is amazing, we spent one week in a hotel close by that we booked all inclusive, but the food in the beach club was so amazing that we decide to spend everyday of our trip in there… we had wine and lunch everyday there sit in front of the ocean in this comfortable chairs, umbrella and nice music selection. The staff is so friendly, they have an amazing wine card and the food is absolutely amazing. We will definitely come back. I will miss the Crete salad (was the best I have ever had in my life).
