What an absolute disappointment. What a shame. For a place in such a great location and with a great concept , I was totally let down. On arriving at the establishment yesterday at around 8:45 tried the door and it would not budge so thought OK that's not the entrance. Tried a door in the next area, nope. Then noticed members of staff in the place, so tried the original door and with a heave it opened. Staff looked surprised that they would actually have a customer at this time. They advertise that they open at 8:00am. So I sit to wait for my friends. Explain that there would be a few of us. So handed 3 dog-eared menus. Never asked if I would like to order something. After 20 minutes I ask for a tea. Meanwhile my friend had tried the door and concluded that the establishment was not open yet. She went somewhere else. Since I am the only customer and as far as I could see there were at less 3 members of staff I would think it a simple thing for one member of staff to open the stiff door for potential customers. When my friends did arrive as started to decide our orders. The waitress first only took 2 people's coffee orders missing out one person. The Menu- although it seems there is plenty of variety, there is not. All scramble egg dishes come with croissant. Everything had truffle oil. My friends wanted scramble eggs dishes with bread/ toast but we are informed that they could not have this. So one orders an omelette instead. The friend who orders the scramble egg with salmon tells the waitress not to put salad or beet dressing. Later it arrives with this. The others order pancakes with yogurt and berries. The pancakes were inedible, mealy and definitely reheated. Sorry if you call yourself a brunch place and can not even get the basic component of your menu right, you have shot yourself in the foot.I was frankly tempted to go into your kitchen and teach your cook how to produce a edible pancake myself. Meanwhile your one waitress who seemed to actually be working was so surly and rude, it was embarrassing. This maybe due to the sudden flood of 15 year olds that had sat down. Although the teenagers did not cause any disturbance. Where we sat the glass door was left open continually, even though the waitress was ask continually to do something she chose to ignore us. As we paid up waitress informed of the pancake problem and no apology made. Ok enough time spent writing and you reading. Save yourself the time and avoid...
Read moreAmazing spot for brunch in the heart of Kifissia! The food is amazing and costs almost nothing compare to other places. The pancakes with the peanut butter are to die for! Obviously I managed to eat them all! My friends also loved the black waffle with the smoked salmon and the signature ‘bougatsan’ A+++ for presentation too!!! Trust me it’s hard not to instagram your food before you eat it! A+++ for the Staff too. They are all so kind and helpful ( I asked a lot of questions before I ordered because I was so indecisive with all these yummie choices). Always with a smile which is great to see first thing in the morning. Overall I highly recommend it for your brunch either it is early in the morning or late in the afternoon. P.s. great mp3...
Read moreI had heard about this new small cosy place which opened recently. One of its main specialities is a specific desert, so I did not knew what to expect. The place is small and cosy indeed. Modern design without creaming about it. Comfortable chairs and children friendly. The menu was a pleasant surprise: good prices and a range of dishes concentrating on eggs (scrambled, omelette etc), a few burgers, salads and deserts. This means that if you are after for a dinner option, maybe this is not the place for you. The place is definitely perfect for a relaxed breakfast or brunch, alone or with the family. Light dinners or lunches at a relaxed environment - this is your place! The staff is quick and efficient. Definitely a place to...
