Kite Center Naxos by Thalasea Sports — Attraction in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

I had the absolute pleasure of spending time at the kitesurfing spot in Mikri Vigla and training with the amazing team at Thalasea. Jasmine and Andrea, the owners, are truly wonderful people who create such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I had my lessons with Dimitris two years ago, and I learned so much in such a short amount of time thanks to his excellent instruction. The equipment provided is top-notch, and the whole team is incredibly flexible, always accommodating your needs with a smile. Also because Jasmine and Andrea speak so many languages fluently, it doesn’t matter where you are from, you will get along instantly in your mother tongue 😜

The location itself is breathtaking – the beach is one of a kind, with stunning sunsets that warm you heart and will stay for you as an unforgettable memory. Right next to the spot is a super cool beach bar with delicious food, great drinks, and super friendly and funny owner. You feel instantly comfortable and at home, surrounded by good vibes and the perfect holiday atmosphere. The combination of kiting, Greek coffee, marvelous food, time on your hand to unwind, read a book and stare into the distance and with a clear view all the way to Paros, and of course being surrounded by genuine, happy, ambitious, helpful, and beautiful people, inside and out, makes Thalasea the best Kite Center I have ever been and all one needs to recharge with life’s joy!!!

I cannot recommend Thalasea and the entire experience enough. It’s pure relaxation, and a perfect place to learn or improve your kitesurfing skills. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and special time.

We LOVE Kitecenter Naxos by Thalasea 🥰I already know how to kite having lived on the island for many years but for my boyfriend this was a new start in this sport! He already started some time ago with Jasmine and took some more lesson this year with Andreas and after only few lessons he is riding and enjoying this amazing sport! 🤩 The guys were exceptional with him: they thought him very well sharing with him their years of experience, they gave him super good tips that made him improve fast but still following all the safety measures that give you the confidence to be between other kiters without fear! The kites used from the school are new or in perfect conditions and for sure that makes a huge difference in the learning process! I recommend this school to all the beginners that wants to learn well and safe and to all the other kiters (intermediate and pros) that want to find a base for the holidays: Jasmine and Andreas will take very good care of you so you can just enjoy your kite sessions and find a home base for...

My time at Kite Center Naxos by Thalasea Sports was absolutely incredible. Everything was spot on: the people, the instructors, the beachside location, the delicious food, and the whole vibe. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to learn kitesurfing.

The spot itself is a dream: crystal clean blue water, steady wind, and a laid back yet highly professional atmosphere. The school is extremely well organized with top gear, and everyone there is passionate, experienced, and genuinely supportive.

A big shout-out to Mike, Michael, Pascal, Jasmin, and Andreas: you guys were just amazing 😊! Your energy, patience, and dedication really made all the difference. After 30 hours of private lessons, I went from total beginner to confidently (Independent) riding – a true “zero to hero” journey!

Also worth mentioning: the prices are absolutely fair for the quality of instruction and service you get. Great value all around.

I’ll definitely be back – and I can’t recommend this place enough!
