Victoria Cafe — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

We ordered the Greek Salad and the Surfer's Club sandwich (tuna, avocado, dill, fresh onion, fried potatos). After what felt, more than 20 minutes of waiting, the lady came and said their avocado is not ripe and if I want to order something else. Then we waited another 15 or so for the food. The food was good, the older lady was sympathetic compared to the young one that seemed annoyed. The atmosphere was good as well. And the waiting would also not have been a problem if somebody showed sympathy and apologized for it which they didn't. Waiting more than 45 minutes for a salad and a sandwich without an explanation or apology is...

Just arrived at our villa rental and found this beautiful little cafe nearby. The food is outstanding, the ambiance comfortable and beachy with light jazz playing. Each entree and/or salad a tasty adventure! I had the special which was lamb and roasted potatoes and some peppers slow baked in parchment paper. So so so wonderful! Thank you! Then we topped it all off with sips of raki- an aperitif with hints of honey, cinnamon and cloves....

The cool thing about Victoria cafe is that its seats are nested in the sand. You could literally walk up from the beach (all wet), eat/drink and head back to the beach. We saw many people parasailing here as it was a really windy day. We also took the chance to play “Connect4” – as you can see in the background. Which Tom won!
