Canava Roussos — Attraction in Municipality of Thira

Visited this place on 7/8 at approximately 14:00 but unfortunately we found it closed for that specific day (there was a note at the door) although on Google it showed as open. We were very dissapointed as it was on top of our list (we love and admire their wines) and couldn't return the next day as we had to leave the island. 3 stars because of the great wines and family history, but not 5 stars because there are many people from far away that are coming to visit you on summer and especially on August - at least update...

We spent a wonderful afternoon here. Katarina and Agape were welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. We learned a ton about the history of cultivating grapes and making wine on Santorini, and the legacy and original buildings on site were also very interesting. Recommend tasting all of their wines available - such variety in flavour and texture unlike any other wines we’ve tasted. Some of the reds felt biblical in their palate! We bought several bottles...

This was a beautiful spot to taste/drink some wines. We were able to tour their interior process before we got drinks.

The atmosphere was beautiful, shaded by trees with light music playing. There was the constant chirp of birds (I believe this was a recording, but it was a good one!).
