Pueblo viejo suites — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

Nice, clean and quiet apartment located in the middle of the island. It takes approx. 30 min. by foot to get to the Kamari beach or you can catch up the bus. The bus stop is just in 5 minutes and the bus rides every 30 minutes to Fira and Oia directions. However apartment looking not the same as in the pictures. Seems that the apartment is a bit old and needs some refreshing and cosmetic repairs. The kitchen is well equipped but has no frying pan and dish towel. We also missed the clothes dryer for our beach towels. The bathroom is clean but hoses and shower are covered with calcine deposits. There is also a private terrace with only one sunbed, looking pretty old and beat-up. Nevertheless we enjoyed staying there for one night before our next flight. The road to the airport takes 7 minutes only. The host left a bottle of local wine as a welcome drink and also there were some snacks...

🇯🇵サントリーニ島での2週間の滞在中、Pueblo Viejo Suitesには4泊お世話になりました。本当はもっと長く滞在したかったのですが、人気で予約が取れず、泣く泣く4泊のみ。それでも、その短い間に本当に特別な時間を過ごすことができました。

ホテルはとても静かで、清潔感に溢れ、広々とした空間をまるで自分だけのヴィラのように独占できます。イアやカマリとはまた違う、落ち着いた空気感がとても心地よく、観光の喧騒から少し離れたい方には最高のロケーションです。

何より感動したのは、オーナー・Yiannisのホスピタリティ。必要なものがあれば、ほんの5〜10分で届けてくれるその気配りとフットワークの軽さには驚かされました。きめ細やかなサポートとあたたかい人柄に、心から感謝しています。

またサントリーニに来ることがあれば、必ずここに戻ってきたいと思います。そして「どこのホテルが良かった？」と聞かれたら、真っ先にPueblo Viejo Suitesの名を挙げるでしょう。本当に素晴らしい滞在でした。Yiannis、本当にありがとう！

During my two-week stay in Santorini, I had the pleasure of spending four nights at Pueblo Viejo Suites. I truly wished I could have stayed longer, but it was fully booked — and now I understand why.

The hotel is quiet, immaculately clean, and offers a spacious private atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re staying in your own luxurious villa. It’s a special place, with a peaceful vibe that feels different from the more crowded areas like Oia or Kamari — and I personally loved that.

What made the experience unforgettable was the hospitality of the owner, Yiannis. He is simply the best host — whatever you need, he can deliver it to your door in 5–10 minutes. The room was spotless, brand new, and fully furnished with everything I could possibly need. The location is great too — just 5 minutes from Kamari, but I recommend renting a scooter to get around easily.

If someone asks me where to stay in Santorini, Pueblo Viejo Suites will be the first name on my list. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Thank you, Yiannis, for everything!

Κατά τη διάρκεια της 15ήμερης παραμονής μου στη Σαντορίνη, είχα τη χαρά να μείνω για 4 νύχτες στο Pueblo Viejo Suites. Ειλικρινά θα ήθελα να είχα μείνει περισσότερο, αλλά το κατάλυμα ήταν πλήρως κλεισμένο – και πλέον καταλαβαίνω γιατί.

Το ξενοδοχείο είναι ήσυχο, πεντακάθαρο και προσφέρει έναν ευρύχωρο, ιδιωτικό χώρο που σε κάνει να νιώθεις σαν να βρίσκεσαι στη δική σου πολυτελή βίλα. Η ατμόσφαιρα είναι μοναδική και διαφορετική από τα πιο πολυσύχναστα μέρη όπως η Οία ή το Καμάρι – και προσωπικά, αυτό το λάτρεψα.

Αυτό όμως που έκανε τη διαμονή πραγματικά ξεχωριστή ήταν η φιλοξενία του ιδιοκτήτη, του Γιάννη. Είναι πραγματικά ο καλύτερος οικοδεσπότης – ό,τι κι αν χρειαστείς, μπορεί να στο φέρει στην πόρτα μέσα σε 5–10 λεπτά. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πεντακάθαρο, ολοκαίνουριο και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με τα πάντα. Η τοποθεσία είναι επίσης εξαιρετική – μόλις 5 λεπτά από το Καμάρι, αν και προτείνω να νοικιάσετε scooter για περισσότερη άνεση.

Αν κάποιος με ρωτήσει πού να μείνει στη Σαντορίνη, το πρώτο όνομα που θα αναφέρω είναι το Pueblo Viejo Suites. Ανυπομονώ να επιστρέψω. Σε ευχαριστώ για...

We had a wonderful stay here! The suites are so beautiful and nestled in a neighborhood away from the city center. The host and his family are so accommodating and checked in with us to ensure we had transportation to the suites from the airport. They were also willing to allow us to check in early, and while we waited for the suite to be ready, even transported us to and from Kamari beach. The suite itself is immaculate, and the host checked in with us to offer recommendations for places to visit, dine, attractions, and asked if there was anything else they could do to make our stay more enjoyable. We opted to take the bus around the island, and once we found the closest stop - a brief walk from the neighborhood to the Donkey brewery, we were all set!
