The agreement for the reservation of a 4-bed room was made over the phone (unfortunately) and there they told us that after two days, they would change our room, so that we could go from the first floor to the ground floor. The four-bed room we were in at the beginning was spacious as a four-bed room should be, the only downside was that the toilet broke at least twice and the first time the manager came with a knife in her hands to fix it!
After two days, we were downgraded to a double room in which they simply put two more beds and told us that this will be the four bed room for you to stay in! In which 4 people found it impossible to move let alone open a suitcase! After complaining and after wasting almost our whole day, waiting, they changed our room to a four-bed room, in which to take a shower you would have to have the mop with the bucket nearby.
The tragedy of the case that this lady was rude from start to finish. The day we agreed with the person in charge to change the room the lady came to the room to preach to us that we were dirtying her room while we were waiting to go into the other one !telling us that we would have to wait outside (in the sun) and that we would have to clean and leave it as we found it because she didn't want to pay the cleaner. We were also sitting in the yard and next to us there was another group, she came out to treat the group with salami rolls just to show off! We didn't miss your buns dear, but half-heartedness and rudeness do not...

We stayed three nights in our trip hopping across other small Cyclades islands Paros was our last stop and we felt so lucky to have discovered Alea.
Our room had a very nice balcony with sea view and a modern bathroom!
We loved the body cream and all toiletries made by OLIVE Era a nice Greek brand of organic beauty products!
Mamma maria is so sweet in taking care of her guest we had an arrival snack prepared and the breakfast is made with local products that Maria always very proudly tell each of it with great pride.
On arrival also she made me choose as welcome gift a hand made necklace so special as well al when we left she gave us some oregano and sage from her garden to bring back il home !
Also some beautiful pebbles hand drawn !
Now I’m we have a bit of Alea in London and in Tuscany in our houses !
When we left we felt at home ! Alea is indeed home away from home.
The room was big with a kitchenette with all the needful toaster , kettle , cooking pans, glasses, cutlery.
It’s ideal for long stay and very nice quite location not too much into the noise life of Naousa but at the same time only 10 min walk or few min riding to the village.
In the era of digital experiences it has been a fresh air going back to human experiences thanks to the love of Maria and Simos for their establishment and...
Read moreIt is hard to put into words the genuine kindness and total hospitality we received at Alea! It is the kind of hospitability that you can't believe even exists. Everything was perfect; our room was so clean, cozy and we had a balcony with a spectacular view of the ocean. The shower was awesome. Simos and his mother Maria were some of the nicest people I have ever met. They ensured our entire time we were taken care of; whether that was by means of all kinds of recommendations, transportation or even just making us coffee while we chatted :) The breakfast baskets are to die for; we were truly so excited to see what local Paros treats awaited us each morning. I loved that you can have breakfast in your room or downstairs at their beautiful outside seats. The location is perfect; tucked away but still close to everything you would want to see while in Naousa. If you want to experience genuine Greek hospitality and feel as if you are staying with family members, stop looking and choose this beautiful place. Thank you so much Simos and Maria, we cannot wait to be back! ...
