A hidden gem just a short drive from Fiskardo, this small beach is a charming retreat that carries a unique charm. The sight of olive trees lining the shore, resembling a fjord, adds a touch of rustic beauty to the experience.

Parking: Well, here's the bummer - no designated parking spots! You'll need to park your car alongside the road, making sure to find a safe spot.

The beach itself consists of pebbles and rocks, offering a rugged appeal. If you've got something soft to place under your beach towel, it'll certainly make lounging more comfortable - the rocks can be a bit pointy, I must admit.

Shade: Luckily, there's natural shade aplenty thanks to the numerous olive trees dotting the area. When we arrived around 12pm, there were still some spots available under the cool embrace of the trees.

Water/Snorkeling: While the water is refreshing and clean, I'll be honest, you can find clearer waters elsewhere in Kefalonia. This might not be your go-to spot for snorkeling adventures, but truth be told, we didn't venture too far from the shoreline to explore. Nonetheless, it's a perfect spot to take a dip and escape the summer heat for a bit! Don't forget to pack your trusty water shoes for the...

A considerable letdown based on my expectations: the beach is small and in a bay, but it consists of sharp rocks all the way down under the waterline - this makes it difficult to get into the water and then difficult to reach a depth at which you can begin to swim. Once in the water, there was an obvious film of petrol/oil floating on the surface, which in itself is wholly deserving of the removal of a star. The water wasn’t a particularly nice colour and moving around stirred up a lot of brown silt. Looking around under the surface, I noticed a bearded fireworm that can impart a very nasty sting; fortunately I noticed just before my girlfriend stepped right onto it. This is the only beach during my trip to Kefalonia that I left in less than half an hour, all-in.

Set back from the water are some trees which provide welcome shade and a nice place to sit (with a chair - towels will get horribly muddy and covered in various detritus). There is also a taverna situated across the road from the beach, which is a positive.

Overall, I would say that there are so many better beaches you can visit in this area and Kefalonia as a whole - I would recommend giving...

Small beach a few minutes away from Fiskardo. A nice spot with olive trees that looks like a fjord. Parking: no parking! 😢 You just leave your car on the side of the road. Type of beach: pebble/rocks beach, not organized. If you have something soft to place under your beach towel, it’s better - the rocks are quite pointed here. 🙂 Shadow: you can find it under the many olive trees. We arrived there at 12am and there were still some free spots. 😀 Water/Snorkeling: the water is ok but you can find clearer ones here in Kefalonia. 😐 It doesn’t look like a place for snorkeling but we didn’t swim very far from the beach to verify. Anyway the water is fresh and clean and you can stop here even just to have a break from the summer heat! Bring your...

Unusual in that it’s more of an olive grove and then a stony beach, yes if you put your towel down under an olive tree you’ll have to was it afterwards! Yes the stones can be ouchy on your feet so wear beach shoes! No there isn’t luxurious rental loungers, so go somewhere else! It’s a 5 star beach for what it is! We were staying 10 mins drive away and went twice late afternoon with the kids for a swim. calm waters, fairly clear, so good for basic kids snorkelling, the beach drops away quite quickly and on the right hand side is a reed bed. You get the odd dinghy coming in as small yacht’s moor and they visit the taverna.
