A Must-Try Hidden Gem in Fiskardo!

If you’re in Fiskardo, do not miss this place! I wasn’t expecting much when I sat down—just a quick meal during our cruise stop. But what I got was an unforgettable culinary experience that completely blew me away.

The food here is absolutely incredible. The Greek salad and Cretan salad were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. But the real showstopper was the stuffed tomato and pepper—easily the best I’ve had in all my visits to Greece. The rice was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with herbs that made every bite a delight.

Even the homemade French fries were a standout—crispy, golden, and simply delicious.

Honestly, I’m shocked this place isn’t rated higher. If I could give it six stars, I would. The quality, taste, and presentation were top-notch, and it’s hands down the best dining experience I’ve had in the Ionian Islands.

Just got back to our villa after an outstanding ‘last night’ dinner at Roulas. We still can’t stop talking about it!

We have been on the island for a week and, as most of you will know, virtually every restaurant serves the same (outstanding) meals that vary very little, they are all good but Roulas is just a little bit extra, in every way.

There are some more unusual dishes on the main menu that really take advantage of their charcoal grill.

As well as a smattering of starters we had three outstanding mains; Fried cod with greens and a garlic mash dip, seared bone-in veal steak with fries, side salad and an outstanding bbq style dip and the piece de resistance; Chunks of pork from the spit! This came with oven roasted potatoes, side salad & tzatziki.

All three dishes were meltingly soft with outstanding seasoning. Absolutely ‘bangin’ - quote from the teenager!

The wait staff were very friendly as we expect but despite this being a prime location we were not rushed, it was casual and relaxed.

I Never had such a bad service as in here at Roulas Grill House. First We wanted to order drinks, but the waitress said that he can only take water, wine and other drinks we must order from someone else. After asking if he could get the other waitress, he said yes, but no one came for 10 minutes. After that, my friend was asked by the same waitress to move his chair to the side so that he could get through, although he would only have to move one meter to the right. But after he bumped the chair a second time during the evening and told my friend to move forward, we talked to him about why he didn't move one table and why they shouldn't stitch the seats so tightly if the waiters can't get through. He had absolutely no understanding. The food is okay, but with such unfriendliness I would definitely recommend to visit...
