We never ate At Greco but always stopped for a drink on our way to apartment after returning from the beach. It is a great location as it is always breezy under their umbrellas and I love crowd watching :). The service is always quick and friendly , we always felt welcome, even if we stop only for a beer and an ouzo. This summer we came in the peak season, and stuff was very busy, trying to serve all the customers - I felt very frustrated noticing that some customers were unreasonably demanding and outward rude sometimes. Please be understanding a polite - it costs nothing but will be appreciated by the guys who work long hours in heat, don't have days off or sick leave during the season. Even if the drink does not come within a minute or two, or five (seriously - I heard such a complaint with my own ears!) - you are on a holiday, you are note late for anything, sit back, enjoy the view, the sun, the sea, the...
Read moreThis was the worst meal that we have had on our trips to Greece in the past 3 years. We are currently on a 4 week island hopping and have had some really good food.
The courgette balls were actually delicious. We had them to start.
The calamari was not fresh it was frozen - I felt sick all afternoon after it - it was pretty poor. The chips were frozen - hate frozen chips in restaurants it’s lazy catering.
My husband had souvlaki which was cheap thigh meat! Again he felt nauseous after eating.
The Aperol spritz was very poor - tasteless like they’d hardly put any in.
We felt very letdown and annoyed that the reviews were a 4:4 - it’s definitely not! Maybe we should’ve noted how empty it was …..
Not impressed it’s not difficult to cook great Greek food!
Our bill was €57 - they charged €3 for a bottle of still water. Most places we’ve had...
Read moreOverall we had a mixed experience and those are the points that are worth the highlight: Food: The food was tasty, dish of the day was really nice and price was ok. Everything else was quite overpriced. Beer was 6€ for 0.5L. There's a tourist trap that it is important to point out but seems to be the case in all Fiskardo: They don't season the salad and if you ask for olive oil they will charge 2€ for 20ml. It is, apparently, according to the new covid law but still expensive for the amount and they did not warn us about that. Hygiene: That's the worse point. The lady's restroom was covered in fe.ces and it was impossible to use. I nearly threw up when entering.
So bottom line: food is tasty, price is on the expensive side and the hygiene was...
