St. Nicholas Beach — Attraction in Peloponnese, Western Greece and the Ionian

Excellent place to chill out until a party boat releases a flock of teenagers on the beach. It's really okay since they go straight to the bar. The beach is shallow and great for kids. They also have a dive center here and various watersports. Plenty of umbrellas and chairs to rent or just park your own. Sand is very fine. What you see in the middle is a floating dock and next to that, all the floats which get pulled from boats, like a banana boat ride. You can also eat here. You can also do the green goblin fly thing here. Next to the beach, small hike about 5 min up the mountain is st. nicholas church and a Greek flag you can take a picture with. Rude staff, no food options for children (and staff couldn’t care less!), overly crowded and loud, filthy toilets, way too much foot traffic between the tourists and everyone showing up in bus loads to rent sports gear.

The staff seem to think they don’t need to put any effort in because of the sheer volume of tourists arriving each hour to rent water skis etc - so they just don’t bother.

At 30 euros, sun beds cost may than other less crowded beaches which are right next door - with much more pleasant staff and cleaner facilities and far more...

Check out St Nicholas Beach website for price of water sports on offer. Double jet ski for 30 mins cost €80. The team were lovely, friendly and helpful.

Water is calm, clear and has plenty of fish if you like to snorkel. Bar is reasonably priced for drinks and food. A lovely day out.
