Paralia Asos — Attraction in Sami Municipality

I believe this review is for the main town beach, and is just under a different name than Assos beach, at least with the photos. By the time we got here at around 2PM, all of the sunbeds were taken but we were able to sit on the shaded stoop by one of the private villas. This beach is the most popular, but when we swam around the cove we saw several other beaches that I don't see mapped. One is by the main parking lot and looked to have a lot more shade, even with trees. There is one more almost across from this beach that also looked quite secluded and looked to have stairs that led up to the street, but since we swam over I couldn't see where the entrance was. The water was fine but definitely not as clear as other beaches we've been to. Lots of boats around so might be more polluted too, especially with the small size of the water that's by the shore. Some of the rocks have sea urchins, be careful! Lovely view of the town...

At the time of writing the troops were in town busy helping with the clear up after the recent massive storm. The majority of the town was struggled under a layer of stones and mud, washed through the streets in massive quantities. The beech itself looked like a mass of rubble (no sand) - see pictures.
