We had a wonderful meal at pier 17. The service was really exceptional, we had such a polite, friendly and cheerful waiter. He definitely made the experience. The food was really lovely. The steak was cooked to perfection; it was my first time having lobster but it tasted great. All our food was served promptly and anything extra we needed was also retrieved with speed. We were rushed out just before 2 hours into our booking, luckily we had finished our dessert about 5 mins prior. We were told the next booking was waiting. The guy was quite apologetic though and we had finished so wasn’t too bad, but something to keep in mind if you’re going on a busy Saturday. It was empty at 6pm but really started to fill up by 7:30.

Food was delicious, my only reason for not giving 5 stars is because we were waiting for SO long for them to take our dessert order, so long that i had to go and find the waitress! At least 45 mins, the table next to us even noticed. The dessert did arrive spectacularly quick, however and they were apologetic. It was also quite busy inside -typical summer Saturday night- and we were sat outside. The food really was yummy though and I wouldn't let this experience put me off at all. The staff were outstanding up until that point.. I'm sure I will be back in the future.

After not getting the chance to visit last year, I booked a solo table on Friday night for Pier 17. The staff were friendly and accommodating and I could see they were very patient with patrons and sang happy birthday to a table. I went for the reef and beef (medium rare) with spinach in garlic butter and a side of dauphinoise. The portion sizes could’ve been slightly bigger but overall I was satisfied with how tasty everything was. The tiramisu for dessert was a great choice and while this was on the expensive side, I think the meal was worth it.

This is a really nice restaurant. This was or maybe still is a Michelin star, which is a very nice place on the seafront overlooking the harbour and castle at Guernsey, all the seafood served was caught locally, I had the Sea Bass filleted with the Champ mash and sautéed spinach, there are other fish dishes and seafood dishes like turbot, brill lobster and oysters etc, for starters I had scallops with pancetta and my suite was ice cream with a wafer and espresso and for £2.95 you can get a shot of Baileys (or limencello and another which I can't remember) again I would highly recommend this seafood/fish restaurant when...
