I, as a woman of African origin, requested a cup of coffee from the bald headed man at the front desk at 1750 on 28/10/24. He declined claiming the kitchen was closed for all services including drinks. My european acquaintance made the same request 10 minutes later, and he was served.
Regarding your fabricated claims that: "he did serve me", see counterclaim section I returned to "shout at him" (which by the way is not congruent with fabricated claim #1) I "cursed at him repletely as he tried to do his job" 4). He offered me tap water: he did not offer me tap water. Also I do not drink tap water.
I hope you have functioning cameras within and around the cafe so all parties can have an unbiased narration of the event that occurred that evening including the imaginary tap water I consumed. Alleged videos made towards the end of the interaction do not give a full representation of the entire event.
As a counterclaim to fabricated claim #1, I am happy to show bank statements to evidence that I made no transactions at the establishment. I was not served by the bald headed man. His refusal to serve me was clearly RACIALLY MOTIVATED. I would also raise this with the police as racial discrimination is against the law.

I ordered food and discussed the french toast. After having this discussion, I decided that the french toast were not the right choice for me and ordered something else instead. I made it clear to the waiter at the time of order that I would not want to order french toast. However, when our food arrived at the table, I was given the french toast. I politely said to the waitress that there must have been a mistake/misunderstanding with the order and asked for it to be returned - thinking the issue is resolved.
However, my experience was ruined when the very hostile waiter approached our table and started to accuse me of lying about our order, insisting he had gotten it correct. We then had a back and forth about the issue and he finally admitted he may have got it wrong. The food was taken off our bill, but it should not have gotten to the point where we were arguing, especially when we were in the right. This is not what you would expect from any restaurant and I highly recommend the waiter undergoes some training in his basic customer service skills and actually listen to people when they order - it's common sense. It is clear he wanted to prove he was right, as I am sure he has some sense of a superiority-complex.
Sadly, I will not be dining there again, and wouldn't recommend others do for the time being unless you enjoy...
Read moreI was on a weekend trip to St Peter’s Port in Guernesey island last weekend where I visited Dix neuf restaurant. I ordered the fish and chips meal which was very generous portion and delicious to taste. They offer a deal for 2 courses which is brilliant value for money and which I used to take a main and dessert. My friend got their main burger which they really enjoyed. The fish is large and succulent and their chips are salted to perfection. I can’t speak for the taste of the burger, but it definitely looked great.
However, the service we received was more than disappointing. The assistant manager working the evening of Friday August 25th was incredibly rude and unhelpful. We made a complaint about one of the desserts that they offer as the waiter had previously told us that the chocolate brownie was sweet and moist but when it arrived, it was bitter to taste and dry. I was upset as I had been excited to try the brownie and it ended up being abhorrent. The assistant manager made my friend and I feel like we were at fault and was unwilling to resolve the situation. Although my main food was enjoyed, the dessert and the poorly handled situation means that I will not be returning to this restaurant and would not recommend the overall experience to anyone.
