This is the new foodie experience for Warsaw - at least at the time of visiting Hala Koszyki at the end of 2016 / start of 2017 it is. For those coming from cosmopolitan world cities, this place is nothing new as a destination for the foodie ilk, but is well worth a visit. The hall (hala) is a restored and renovated site. Running down the middle of the main hall is a long, central bar. Around the sides are various eateries of various types - from the traditional style Bierhalle (which is seemingly both Polish and German traditional), to sushi, tapas, chocolates, vegan, Italian, Indian and Thai, to cafés, juices and food based around "sprouts, shoots, edible flowers and grasses" - there should be something for everyone here. On top of the eateries, the food theme continues with a supermarket, organic shop, a cheese-shop/deli and a homewares store. Then there is a book shop, a planned gallery and more. The building itself is a very nice blend of the old and new and, as the whole concept is also designed as a destination, there is a cloak room, so that people can settle in unfettered and enjoy their evening. I can certainly see this being the case as the atmosphere is both spacious and convivial and the offerings catering to a wide variety of tastes and needs. If you want a one-stop place to meet friends in the evening, a quick bite to eat or to buy some quality groceries or even chocolates for a present, this place may just be it.

This vibrant culinary destination deserves a perfect 5-star rating for successfully reimagining a historic market hall as a modern food and social hub. Hala Koszyki stands out as one of Warsaw's most stylish dining venues, offering a contemporary take on the traditional market hall concept. The thoughtfully renovated industrial space creates an atmospheric setting that perfectly balances historic character with modern design elements. The food hall concept delivers exceptional culinary diversity, with multiple vendors offering various cuisines and dining styles under one roof. This format allows visitors to explore different flavors while enjoying the shared social atmosphere of the communal space. The trendy yet accessible ambiance makes it ideal for various dining occasions - from casual lunches to evening social gatherings. The buzzing environment attracts a diverse crowd, creating an energetic atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. For visitors seeking quality dining in a distinctive setting, Hala Koszyki offers a perfect combination of excellent food options and memorable atmosphere. It represents the best of Warsaw's evolving food scene, blending historical architecture with contemporary dining concepts. This venue demonstrates how thoughtful adaptive reuse of historic buildings can create vibrant new social spaces that honor the past while embracing modern urban lifestyles.

Hala Koszyki contributed immensely to elevate the social life of Warsaw by introducing a renovated former market place into a eatery and drinking hub under one roof. There are now around 60 restaurants, chocolate shop, bookstores, grocery stores etc in a covered market which was once a grocery market since the beginning of the twentieth century. It was then refurbished a number of times, but the present grand look came with its newer identity since 2016. It is opened almost everyday of the year. On Sundays at 3 pm it offers a free music concert. The underground parking is a little expensive, particularly for the late night party attenders when actually the entire parking lot becomes empty.

A unique and interesting food court. The site appears to be an old converted factory or warehouse, modernised and remodeled to accommodate perhaps 30-40 food outlets, restaurants, cafés, bars and shops. I was struck by the wide and diverse range of food options including classic Polish, Thai, Indian, Chinese, American, street foods, Italian etc. No matter your taste, you'll find something to enjoy here. The food and drink prices were a little higher than average for Warsaw, but I think that's fair given the interesting building and range of food choices. The site was less than a 10 minute walk from the Politecknika subway and about 15 minutes from Centrum.

It's a Food Hall, one situated in an old covered market, thats been quite wonderfully renovated. There are restaurants (eat in), beer-halls, bars, food stalls, casual dining, fine dining, cocktails, beers, and cuisine in every form - indian, polish, spanish/tapas, burgers, burritos, sushi, italian, heck, you name it, it's here. You've also got little nooks to hang out in, shared/communal tables for the "take-out" stuff, places to just hang out and chat, free wi-fi, and so forth - in short, everything you need to easily spend the best part of an evening, and not notice the time go by...
