The place is nice and peaceful, and I am sure that if you are a flora lover you will take a lot of interest in the various plants both inside and outside the greenhouses. However, the positives stop here.
Bringing a camera inside costs extra 500HUF. It does not make any sense why an expensive iPhone can get in but a very cheap DSLR camera has to buy a ticket. But anyways 500 HUF is dirt cheap, who cares.
Now to the insane part. If you pay the camera ticket you are only allowed to take pictures of the plants and the environment!!! Taking a picture of your friend is not allowed and you have to buy an extra ticket costing 25.000 HUF.
I would understand if you are a professional and you bring pro gear with you to be charged extra, but for amateurs like me this is the most insane thing, that I cannot take a picture of my friend with my camera, but I can using my phone.

The winding paths and themed exhibits really help then sense of immersion. Though it's not quite far enough from the main road to drown own the sounds of traffic and construction, it is still quite relaxing and there are plenty of shady spots to simply sit and enjoy the view. The only thing I would change is the lack of signage as there were a number of times I was left wondering what kind of plant I...
