Madame Poh is one of those places that manages to surprise you from the very first moment. The setting is thoughtfully designed: soft lighting, a warm atmosphere, and a perfect balance between modern style and traditional Asian touches. It’s a space that feels both stylish and welcoming, ideal for a dinner with friends or a more intimate evening. The service is truly impeccable. The staff is kind, attentive, and always ready to offer suggestions with both professionalism and a smile, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The real highlight, however, is the food. The dim sum are delicious—beautifully presented, authentic in flavor, and made with incredibly fresh ingredients. And the rice flour donuts? Absolutely impressive: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with a unique and comforting taste that wins you over instantly. What makes everything even better are the prices, which are more than fair considering the quality offered. It’s a refined and carefully prepared cuisine that stays accessible to everyone. Madame Poh combines great food, a beautiful setting, and honest pricing—definitely a spot worth trying and...
Read moreThis place was pleasant discovery. Went here just to try something different from the Corvin Promenade options. I'd like to praise the staff for their excellent service. They were very attentive to us, courteous and quick. I was actually impressed on how quick they had the food ready despite the amount of guests.
The food was delicious. They had the best spring rolls I have tried in Budapest so far. Super crunchy and fresh. I had the Fried chicken in hot sauce. They accommodated my order to make it "a little less spicy," but it was still really spicy! But I could take it and it felt great with the cold weather. So if you're not used to spicy food, stay away from their spicy menu.
My husband tried Pho soup with shrimp for the first time, and he loved it too. We'll definitely come back when we are...
Read moreI've tried phở in Belgium, the Netherlands and Geramny during my study in Europe. This is arugably the closest authentic taste of phở I've had so far. I got the soup pho with beed and I was honestly surprised. I always make my verdict from tasting the broth and the flavor was the right mix of the light, hearty, beef taste with umami that I always enjoy back home. The portion was satisfying. The price was great for what we got (I might be biased because you will never get this type of price for a noodle bowl in Western Europe). We stopped by for lunch, 30 minutes after opening time and already there were a lot of customers, so if you're a big group, definitely book a table. The staff was friendly, the restaurant is beautifully decorated. Highly recommend if you want proper...
