The Margaret Island Water Tower in Budapest is a stunning landmark that is well worth a visit. From the moment you arrive, you'll be struck by its grandeur and beauty.

Upon entering the tower, you'll be greeted by friendly staff who are more than happy to answer any questions you may have. The tower itself is clean and well-maintained, with stunning views of the surrounding area from the top.

One of the unique features of the Margaret Island Water Tower is its history, dating back to the 19th century. It's fascinating to learn about the tower's past, and how it has been repurposed over the years to serve different functions.

However, I must say that while the tower is beautiful, there were a few issues that kept me from giving it a full 5 stars. One of the main issues was the limited accessibility for those with mobility issues, as there is no elevator to reach the top of the tower. Additionally, there were some areas that could benefit from a bit more maintenance.

Despite these issues, I still highly recommend visiting the Margaret Island Water Tower. The views alone are worth the trip, and the history and unique features of the tower make it a one-of-a-kind experience. I would definitely consider visiting again in the future, and I hope that the tower's owners continue to improve and maintain the facility for...

Before we visited the island, I didn't have great expectations. I thought it would be an ordinary park and rather boring. I was absolutely wrong. The island has such a great spirit. I got my first impressions at the public transport stop on the bridge leading to the island, seeing a crowd of people leaving the island and even more going to it (it was Saturday afternoon). When we walked through the island, we saw it so full of life that we loved it. And it's quite big - we didn't see some of the points of interest that I previously marked. If you really want to feel Budapest, don't...

I have been there during the winter season and on a week day : less people I guess, more quiet but temperature outside is still warm enough to use the outdoor pools/baths (even if less pools are available due to the season) I was told there are better places/spas in Budapest - maybe. I just know I really had a good time there. I am not a SPA expert, for me the facilities were good : thermal baths, saunas, pools, Jacuzzi...

And I would advice you take a bit more time to walk around on Margaret Island. It seems it i squite a poular place both for...

Always a love a good tower. You can go up and see everything from the top, like the pinnacle of evolution that you are. ✓✓✓ As you walk up the circular staircase, you wonder why you did it to yourself: pay money so that you can walk up a 100 stairs with the power of your own muscle? Fun part: you buy a ticket in a the box office, perhaps the intention was to give this 500 forint-worth piece of entertainment a broadway feel. The ticket-checking lady was smiling and seemed happy to see us, a much more pleasant experience than at the National Museum.
