The church itself is very nice, i Just don't understand why every damn morning at 6am they have to ring their damn bells for 10 minutes! I'm sleeping in the hotel right in front of it, and I have to wake up every day 2 hours before my time because of that! I am aware that priests and co are convinced to be still living in the middle ages, but they should realise that those times are gone, and every single human own a phone with a clock on it and their own alarm to wake up whenever they want, so they don't need their freakin bells anymore!!
The aim of churches should be encouraging people to pray... Well, mission accomplished: every morning -6am sharp- I pray for a meteor to crash into that bell...
Read moreI loved this grandiose church. It was absolutely empty on a Sunday afternoon and I was so glad it was open! It felt dump and cold, and many decorations were ruined and some walls falling in pieces. Clearly it needs to be renovated inside, and works are already ongoing outside (June 2023).
