Leskowsky Instrument Collection Foundation — Attraction in Kecskeméti járás

Very informative and interactive museum. They have a tour at 10 am 11am 1pm 2pm and 3.30 pm. Since we came early, just two of us in this tour. Both staff are really kind and funny. They both speak English fluently. They told many interesting bits about ancient instruments that you rarely have seen in this present day. The fun part is that you have a chance to try almost every type of instrument, and they guided us step by step of how to play it properly.

Spending 2 hours here with fun and joy.

Unique collection of music instruments. The young lady showed us around and gave a very interesting and inspiring presentation. They encourage you to try many of the instruments. Az eddigiek közül, amelyekben jártam, pedig volt jópár, ez a harmadik kedvenc múzeumom (a londoni British Museum Egyiptológiai Gyűjteménye és a - szintén gazdag óegyiptomi anyaggal rendelkező - Las Vegas-i Natural History Museum után). Hihetetlenül gazdag és ízlésesen, strukturáltan elhelyezett gyűjteménye lelhető fel itt a különféle hangszereknek és - amikor még jóval a járvány előtt - a volt Párommal itt jártunk, szinte bármelyiket (biztonságosan) ki is lehetett próbálni, hozzáértő személyzet felügyelete/segítsége mellett. Hihetetlenül élveztük, utána vettünk is egy csomó ajándék jegyet a családtagoknak. Nemrég egy szakmai konferencia kulturális programja keretében látogattam el ide ismét, fotósként és azt tapasztaltam, hogy a résztvevők mind-mind nagyon élvezték a számukra tartott hangszerbemutatót.
