Tavirózsa tanösvény — Attraction in Keszthelyi járás

There is a forest above the lake in Heviz, and I had been looking for a lookout point in it for a long time, which I had read somewhere about. Winter had fallen, the leaves had fallen, so I thought I would go find it now, and take pictures of the lake from above. Somehow we found a structure, it looks new, we later read that it was built in 2020 with EU funds and cost 69.9 million forints or 1,700,000 euros. It is an understatement to say what I experienced when I rushed to catch a glimpse as soon as possible: Eeeeeee, we spent one million and seven hundred thousand euros in vain, a complete failure, no view at all I caught a few photos of the lake and some villages on a hill in the distance, and this was supposed to be a tourist attraction in Heviz from which tourists would send photos all over the world of the unique volcanic lake that covers 4 hectares, I am not sure that you can see...

The trail itself is nice, but not breathtaking. The lookout has a great view. Path wanders through Heviz, near the thermal lake and tourist areas, where there is lots to see. We also found a moving, centrally located Holocaust memorial in a nice park . The parking app guided us 300 meters from the end of the trail to our car, saving the need to double back. A Tavirózsa tanösvény egyik bejárata az Ady Endre utcai parkolóból a fa lépcsőn fel az erdőbe, vagy a Park utca felől. A tanösvény végig a szürke murvás úton halad. Van több erdei út is ami elágazik a tanösvényből, lehet bóklászni. A lombkorona kilátó a murvás úton haladva érhető el, kb. közép tájon. A tavat a lombok között csak picit látni, de így is szép. Tavirózsákat sajnos nem láttunk, de mi csak a tanösvényen mentünk végig. 0-24 órában látogatható ingyenesen. A parkolásért kell fizetni, mint mindenhol máshol Hévízen.

A tanösvény folytatódik a tó Deák téri bejáratánál, a kerítés melletti új sétányon haladva. A sétányon körbejárhatjuk a tavat kívülről, egészen az Ady Endre utcai parkolóig. Ezen az oldalon is vannak kisebb útleágazások a fák között. A kihelyezett térkép számunkra nem egyértelműen ábrázolta...
