This review is more from a point of view of a curious tourist rather than a patient from the spa. It is very interesting establishment which is wort of seeing if you are in the vicinity. Tldr: 30 minute pass is enough if you don't want to actually swim there's no beach to walk your feet in, so you can just wet your feet at some of the steel stairs to water - but it's not clear if this would be allowed by the 30 minute pass. I would assume nobody would care, but can't guarantee.
There actually is a 30 minutes visitors pass which I think would be sufficient for having a look, but it prohibits swimming in the lake. Given we were interested in the apparently warm water and wanted at least put our feet into the water, maybe for a short walk through the water on the beach we actually bought full tickets. Those were basically waste for us, we did ended up being there for a bit longer (like 40 minutes) but there is no beach nowhere around the lake anyway (but it seems like there would be some from maps around the establishment) and only way to enter the water is via steel stairs on multiple places. I think the 30 minutes pass would be really good enough (and I think nobody would blame us if we just try our feet in the water on one of the stairs) . But we were unable to communicate that sufficiently beforehand and it wasn't clear how all that works.
While 3 star review might seem harsh from a quick visitor rather than a patient or regular I don't think I would give better rating unless the water would have miraculous healing powers. The establishment feels dated and used. While not in immediate danger of collapsing it clearly shows it had it's better days in the pass and while the water can be healing and relaxing. State of the entire building doesn't add to the relaxing nature to me it did the opposite. Still very interesting building from historical and architectonical point of view. You definitely won't see something like this...
Read moreIf you can overlook some details, it's a great place to relax all year round. It's quiet - on the few occasions I've been there, no running and screaming children, etc. In the warmer times, it's great to relax on the loungers outside. Or even during the colder times if you're feeling brave! The water is pleasantly warm all year round. I recommend wearing a rash-vest to protect your shoulders from the sun while floating in the lake. It will also keep you on the warm side in colder times. A hat is also recommended during high summer months. You can hire a float noodle so you don't need to worry about swimming to keep yourself afloat. You can easily spend an hour two in the water just floating around. The solarium with saunas and jacuzzis is a nice area to relax too. Two different jacuzzis: one about 30 C with bubbling water jets. The other is cooler and still water to cool down. There are several saunas and a steam room. Each sauna has a different temperature, so you can find the one that suits you. Beware of the notices as they advise of the attire you need or don't need! There is also an ice bath if you need a dramatic cool down experience! I haven't sampled the...
