What an absolute treasure. Janos pirk is accessible to the less artistically inclined as well as the art obsessed. This museum is an intimate exploration of a local artist with a dynamic expression. The museums staff are the children of the artist giving this museum the feeling of a hidden gem. I cannot recommended this enough as a means of understanding the character of the city more intimately.

Very nice museum with exceptional pieces of art. If you visit in this town come to visit, 2 stories of art of the liftime of pirk janos. The lady in the desk Veronica is very noce and knowledgeable and she explained us a lot about different paintings and the motives and inspiration behind them. Highly recommended.

A real hidden gem, definitely worth paying a visit. The museum is ran by the late artist’s children, who are happy to share their first-hand experience and expert knowledge with visitors. Will definitely return.

The exhibition is really interesting. Our group was lucky to have a guided tour with a local art expert. Its amaizing how a talent can be polished and refined through such hardships. I recommend visiting this Museum. You can also talk to one of the painter's daughters who works at this museum and buy a postcard with one of Pirk...
