Where I'm from I work in a VIP professional restaurant therefore when I'm in other restaurants I naturally pick up on things.
Food was wrong twice and was very bland as the chicken had more bone than actual chicken. The Goulash was astounding I much give them that.
Servers are not trained well and aren't in the correct uniform. I saw what looked to be the manager or boss smoking and then handling food without washing hands. Servers would hand the food over to you instead of placing it down for you to each and when doing this handed me the goulash which was in a metal bowl with a cloth betweenit and plate (almost slid of plate when handed to me), did not warn me it was boiling hot (safety hazard). Time between started and main coming to the table was way to short, I hadn't even taken 10 bites before I saw the next dishes.
The lady on the BBQ in the corner would handle raw food with the same gloves and then touch her face, hair, drink, window where she passes food through, trays, door handle, cleaned her glasses and even went as far as blowing her nose all without even washing her hands.
Portions are very disproportionate I had more sauce with my chicken and pasta then anything.
Overall if your not to hungry and need something small id recommend the goulash but anything else I would say it to bland to feed to a dog. From what i witnessed, cleanliness is a joke and for a beautiful village the food at this...
Read moreWe waited for one and a half hour for our dish (serbian plate for two), but we did not get it, and when asked what the status of the order was, we were informed that our food was prepared an hour before, but the staff ate it due to an administrative mistake made by them. There was a waitress with blond hair, jumping all the time around a middle-aged couple who ordered there food at the same time when we ordered ours, sitting next to our table, and the blond hair waitress delivered them a lot of things during those 1.5 hours while we were waiting there, but instead of asking us at least once whether we were waiting for something, she was pressing her rather round shaped butt towards us and our table while she was chit-chatting with the middle aged couple, while we were sitting there. Not a nice behavior. The thing is that there was a very noticeable inequality showed by her towards the guests. No way that we would ever return, even if they paid us to eat there. Fortunately, after this unpleasant incident, we very quickly found another restaurant, where we got our very delicious food in...

Why? They have one of the rudest waitresses I have ever encountered. She didn't like people standing on the sidewalk (yes, the public sidewalk) in front of the restaurant.... She walked into me from behind (didn't notice her as she was BEHIND ME), pushed me to the side and complained....When told to stop pushing people and later children around her reaction included "I will spill hot soup on your neck", "came from abroad and trying to be smart", "this is my sidewalk" 0_o etc. The "foreigner" complaint was especially funny as she was spoken to in Hungarian. Being a foreigner would be probably much worst as she doesn't like them. She quit the fight after random local bystanders told her that indeed the sidewalk is not private property and she is being rude and unproffesional.
P.s Interestingly other waiters didn't have a problem with people around the restaurant but maybe the reason is that all of them are 3 times thinner than this "lovely"...
