This Ice Cream Parlor is in the center of the Old Town of Szentendre, only 20 kilometers outside of Budapest, The whole area is very relaxing, located next to the Danube with many nice little shops and cafés, ideal to get away from Budapest's hustling and bustling.

My Ice Cream, a pistachio and an apple scoop was simply delicious and therefore I want to share this experience with you. Here at Margaretta you also can sit outside in the patio in front of the coffee shop to enjoy its very nice view onto the Danube flowing by gently just down the street. The colorful stones in the ground in front of the entry of this place is also a very nice feature.

Good place, but don't expect anything extraordinary. We arrived by bike. There are a few bike racks but only for 4 bikes. The ice cream was good but nothing extraordinary, maybe even a bit liquidy.
