Skólavörðustígur, also known as Rainbow Street, is one of Reykjavík’s most iconic and colorful streets in Iceland. Here’s a quick guide if you’re interested: • Location: Downtown Reykjavík, leading up to the famous Hallgrímskirkja Church. • Nickname: “Rainbow Street” because of its vibrantly painted rainbow pavement, a symbol of support for diversity and the LGBTQ+ community. • Vibe: Lined with cute cafés, galleries, Icelandic design boutiques, souvenir shops, and street art. • Photo Spot: The view up to Hallgrímskirkja from the rainbow is one of the most Instagrammed spots in Reykjavík.

Things to Do Nearby: • Visit Hallgrímskirkja: You can go up the tower for panoramic city views. • Check out local art: Places like the Gallery Tukt or Kogga Ceramic Studio. • Coffee break: Try Café Loki (just near the church) for traditional Icelandic dishes. • Shopping: Local wool, lava jewelry, and Nordic-style clothing are popular. I am very happy to visit. nice town and enjoy...
