Surkleshwar Ghat isn't only a temple it's also an Archaeological Site of India. The place is under Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). I'm not a religious but a wanderer so I visit this place only once without any idea about the place and a miracle happened.

We went in a bunch waiting for our guide. We click photos as the place fabulous. I took a lot of snap as ASI was one of the remnants of memories. Fortunately something exciting and embarrassing moment occurred due to hyper excitement.

To see dolphin was one of my desire. So when I visit this place and sat at the step of the bank, I spot dolphin diving. It's like a dream couldn't believe my eyes. I rub my eyes with unbelieve. Again I spot it thinking it was my delusion. I ask my cousin sister to see whether it's real or not and she told me she saw it too. I came to know it's real I've spotted a dolphin although it isn't near. Suddenly I scream out of excitement Oh! I've already seen a dolphin. It's a dolphin a real dolphin. OMG! Everyone around us stare at us for a moment.

After spotting the dolphins there's no more snaps we all just went crazy spotting the colours of dolphin diving. We even had a contest of how much dolphin we spot based on the size and colour. That was one of the most incredible...

Shukreswar Ghat: A Mixed Bag of Views and Neglect Shukreswar Ghat offers an amazing boat ride experience on the Brahmaputra River. The views from the water are undoubtedly beautiful, providing a unique perspective of Guwahati and the river's expanse. It's a great way to enjoy the tranquility of the river. However, the overall experience at the ghat itself is unfortunately marred by its condition. The ghat area is noticeably dirty, which detracts from the spiritual and scenic appeal. Furthermore, the poor infrastructure regarding the steps and surrounding areas is a significant concern. The steps leading down to the river can be uneven and require careful navigation, and the general lack of maintenance is evident. While the boat ride is a definite highlight, the cleanliness and infrastructure at Shukreswar Ghat could use significant improvement to make it a truly pleasant and welcoming destination. It's a place with great potential, but currently, it falls short in terms of basic upkeep and facilities.

Situated on the banks of the river Brahmaputra, Sukreshwar is a very beautiful temple. I happened to visit the temple during pushkar in November 2019. Sukreshwar temple Shiva and Vishnu temples within it. Based on the fact that Hari and Shiva are one and the same-sex the Vishnu temple has the dieties of shivalinga ,lord muruga and Ganesha within it.I haven't come across this in many of the south Indian temples. The Shiva temple has a huge shivalingam, wherein the devotees can offer prayers, do pooja, perform abhishegam with milk and water. This is amazing and gives us a sense of happiness and satisfaction. In many temples we are not allowed to touch the dirty. By bathing the shivalinga a true feeling of being closer to goes derived. True bliss. Neatly maintained. Also the temple is open from morning to night 10pm. So because of this the temple is not crowded. The Brahmaputra runs calm and serene on whose banks dwell Shiva and Vishnu devalay. A real awesome place to visit. 8
