Reboti Chat House — Restaurant in Assam

Went today at their closing time I already asked is food available? They told yes they are there for more 20 min ..So I ordered chicken roll which was 100 RS I took it as takeaway but has it it outside their stall.While eating I found that the roll is actualy a egg roll there was no chicken at all.I immediately went there and complaint about that they tried to change the order and made a fresh one in front of me .They were frying some chicken pieces with the leftout noodles from there last chowmien order .lol .then gave those chicken pieces on a plate and served me to have it as there was no chicken in the roll.ohh my god what a kind of service and thogbajii.I told immediately what is this they apologise and told they will make fresh one .And ordered their cleaner or someone who didn't know to make food also then this illiterate made this full of oil ,the chicken fried that was given on the plate all mixed up and put on the roll even missed the veggies they put between the roll .. What kind of people are you all common .How you are responding to comments on Google shows your courtesy.Dont think fooling people who are your guest is only making your business possible.And it was 100percent planned that as I took packing you thought you will send a egg roll instead of chicken roll..as it was already made you just put it inside the polythin and your rangalao mix sauce. who will come from to visit again and complain isn't it? . This is your mindset .Last and final time at...

Especially frequent joint for all bosconians from the day it started in the year 1988. It serves cheap tasty food period... ( What more does any school goer needs )🙂 Used to frequent this place since childhood Don Bosco days !!

Tried the "Chicken Chowmin" after a long gap of about 21-22yrs during my visit to Guwahati. (I last had while I was still into studies). Taste is still intact and even with the large spike in number of fast food joints in Guwahati over the past years.

Reboti is still probably one of the best value for money food joints (though not the most hygienic but at certain times of the year, for certain places it's ok when you know in and out of the restaurant). But yes considering its years of operation and profit, upgradation of the shack should have been done by now. Hygiene and sitting capacity seriously needs betterment.

Note : It's just walk in, eat it and walk away... It's not kinda restaurant...just a fast food corner. Don't miss whenever my beloved readers you are in Guwahati. Certain taste can't be express everything in words. You need to visit and get the zing on...

One of the most famous chat houses in guwahati. Delicious and mouth watering food nd specially the chowmein from reboti chat house. No words for it. Nd the interesting thing to notice is the price. It's quite cheap. Anyone can afford a plate of chowmein. The place needs little renovation, but there is a story behind the bad infrastructure. They believe renovating the infrastructure will lead to huge loss for the business according to a baba. Apart from that, all the other things like the place, the arrangements, the staffs and their hospitality everything is superb. I just loved it and I bet you will love it too. Those who are new in guwahati, just go to that place once and enjoy the chicken chowmein. They will not disappoint you for sure. One can easily find the place from google map. It's near panbazar sheikh brothers restaurant. You might wonder why I wrote an essay on this small chat house, the reason is the food obviously.
