It is a lake located near to nagalingeswara temple ,kundalahalli and Brookfield. It's maintaining by BBMP, the foot path is not plasted by cement, concrete or even thar also. The greenary and plants and trees are also maintained in good manner, Cool weather at morning and it's so delighfull by flying birds on lake , ducks swimming ,fish swimming and birds sounds . it's having steet lights to cover the lake and those are not oparating by electricity they are equipped with solar system, the lake is looks so nice in night also because it's getting the reflection of lights it's so amazing to see it, this is also secured by the guards .this lake boundary consists of burial ground at the left side if we come from the main entrance gate and it has hill station towards its right . So many people daily cross the ground bridge by walk , it's always engaging with people to connect more PG's(paying guest) to the IT (information technology) companies , electronic companies and other companies also , it's too near to lemon tree hotel and Capgemini IT company.to come here let's come through the BMTC buses route towards, itpl , kaadugodi routes from mejestic and get down from bus at Brookfield bus stop and walk away from thare by using Google map you can...

Full Disclosure: I am involved in rejuvenating this lake (that might explain my rating of 5 stars, above). Leaving aside my biases, I want to clarify some of the reviews here that appear to contradict each other.

In the 2015-early17 time frame, the lake was dewatered in order to remove the lake-bottom sludge. That explains some of the "no water here" comments. Next, lakeshore area was quite dirty, a dumping ground for all of Whitefield. This, too is changing for the better.

As of the time of this review, much work is still needed. But sewage entry has significantly reduced, solid waste is beginning to get managed, the slum next to the lake is adopting cleanliness practices. Birds and fish have returned. 10,000 pedestrian commuters use the lake daily.

Best of all, this is is a community, government and corporate funded ecological rejuvenation. I was keen that this not be a BBMP-only project. That the companies nearby be involved. That the people nearby take spiritual ownership of the lake. It's too early to say, but I am...

First of all, the lake is not excellent at all, especially the water smell, which is really horrible. It also has two faces: one is good for walking on, and the other is the worst, with people putting cows there and shitting there. You won't be able to walk through this place at all. This lake is solely useful for those who work for companies in the Epip Zone region because it is a shortcut from Brookfield to the Epip Zone. During the rainy season, you won't be able to walk through the lake because it will be full of water; the opposite side is fine but not very excellent. I will not suggest this...

Kundalahalli lake, which once used to be a sink for sewage, is currently rejuvenated and a great place for a walk, jog or cycling. However the access to the lake is not controlled - multiple entry points with all gates kept open, someone also has cut the fencing to create an illegal entrance - this is something that needs attention. The lake water looks pretty decent with a swamp area to filter the raw sewage. The walking track around the lake has been lined with trees and plants and provides sufficient shade and nice green cover. Great to see the lake rejuvenation efforts bearing fruit.

Poorly managed, the lake is surrounded by multiple burial sites within the compound. The lake provides a shortcut from EPIP side to Brookfield side which can be mostly accessed only by walk, so you will see a lot of employees taking that short cut. One of the sides of the lake is quite a big slum & I don't think this would be safe in the evenings since there are direct openings from the slum to the lake either cut fences or gaps in fences. Also the place stinks at some areas, however the lake view point is amazing.
