It is supposed to be a fine dine with decent service. However, sharing my experience of my visit today.
No vallet parking available. You need to park it yourself to the basement of hotel.
The lift is there to take you from basement to Ground floor, however, surprisingly the lift ones reached the Ground floor, is not allowed to come down to basement as someone need to press the button at basement for it to flow down - we were denied the usage of lift due to this and took the ramp down to basement - and yes we are specially abled and usually avoid taking ramps down or up by walking.
While entering the food arena “Citrus Cafe”, the lady at the welcome desk gave a strange view on telling her that we are not staying in the hotel, but are visiting for having Dinner at a fine dine restaurant. Not sure why that strange look was there.
There was a event which was happening at the hotel - not on a separate area - but merged with the Restaurant space - leading to NO FOOD to be taken - one had to literally wait for 10 to 15 minutes for having limited food to be served. The area was absolutely noisy and by no mean can be termed as “Fine Dine”, but yes can be termed as “Fish Market” for sure (not making this up).
The Milk was totally spread on the floor near the Coffee machine - no one to look and clean that.
Totally mismanaged arrangement and awkward staff service.
For a price point of Rs. 900/- (with taxes per person), it is surely not worth visiting. It is good to visit M Cafe or something similar , but for me this was surely a first and a last visit.
Note: this is not a paid review but truly...
Read morePathetic buffet spread. We visited the hotel for a farewell lunch yesterday and we chose the hotel since it was like 5 mins walk from office. Looking at the ambience I wondered how come we never came for a team lunch here in last 6 years. When I went to buffet spread, the reason was obvious!
Veg buffet spread contained the following: 1x Veg Noodles soup (with out a name board and even staffs were unclear if it was veg or non-veg) and shredded boiled chicken separate (modular option to convert veg soup to non-veg one). 2x Starters - Onion pakoda & Hara Bara kebab. 1x Paneer Butter Masala 1x Dal 1x Baingan subzi 1x Plain rice 1x Veg Puloa Assorted breads served at the table. 1x Burnt Garlic Noodles 1x Butter Milk 3x Desserts - Gulab Jamun, Cut fruits and a name sake pastry. 1x Ice Cream (On request)
Only exciting part for me in the spread was the burnt garlic noodles which after taking, I realized, there was no gravy that goes with it! Soup was closest match to it and I didn't want to clown myself by eating noodles with soup!
Most of us left disappointed and not coming back here again. For 780 bucks, you could get an actual buffet that customers like and not end-up eating what chef felt like...
Read moreFood is not worth the money that they are asking for. Not much options in a sunday dinner buffet. 2 simple veg salads, some dry nuts, a juice, soup and a 5-dish main course. It felt more like attending an adult's birthday party at home. Kitchen makes very few customized items for you, that too wasnt great for us because the sweet corns that they brought were not fresh. Satisfactorily they have tawa roti, for you to fill your tummy somehow. Finally i passed on the feedback and they told that this menu is prepared for a company's inductees and hence the limited menu. Not good, as they must have told at the time of booking. Waste of money, time and appetite. Service...
