We visited this place twice over two days since this is a vast centre with so much to walk around and learn from. You need to plan over two days to complete this for about 10 hours in total.

Car Museum is amazing with not only cars but also carries interesting info posters with amazing throwback pics.

Science museum is huge and you can't complete this, how much ever you try in 3 Hours. It is not only for kids but also adults will find it informative to understand evolution of science for almost all professionals.

What we loved most with the 8 and 13 year old kids of ours is the experience center where kids will definitely have a good time. There are plenty of experiments in science to touch and learn from experiments. If your child is interested in science and needs a hands on learning experience on basic science concepts then this is the place to go. We visited this twice to complete since you will be exhausted here sooner than the museums because of the activity.

Note to management - If you can arrange a small cafeteria to refresh and reboot the energy it will help cover the museums better and will enhance the...

The G.D. Naidu Museum is a science and technology museum located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1974 by G.D. Naidu, a prominent inventor and industrialist who is often referred to as the "Edison of India."

The museum houses a collection of over 50,000 items related to science, technology, and industry, including rare photographs, documents, and artifacts that showcase the various inventions and innovations of G.D. Naidu and other scientists and inventors. Some of the highlights of the museum include a working model of a steam engine, a replica of a Wright Brothers' plane, and an original Tesla coil.

The museum also features a planetarium, a science park, and a children's corner where young visitors can engage in interactive and educational activities related to science...

If you visit Coimbatore make sure you keep a day aside for the museum. It is one of the best museums I have visited. The car museum has a huge collection of vintage cars and the history of the associated technological advances is well documented along the walls. The science museum has 1000s of articles, from safety razors to gramophones to vintage computers. It's a great way to pique kids' interest in science & technology. I learnt a lot of things myself. And I haven't even mentioned the best part yet - the Experimental Science Center. If you visit nothing else, visit this. The amount and nature of experiments on display is mind boggling. Ever heard of Chaldni Patterns? You'll find it here. You need at least 3-4 hrs to try out all the experiments so plan...

Definitely a place to visit jus to catch up on the yester years of machine technology, automobile evolution n scientific advancement of gadgets and electronics. A neat display which doesn’t take u 2 long to visit. My only suggestion stay/walk right under the fans for the motion sensors to kick in and the fan/ lights start to work. (Automatic on/off). As there’s no AC n it will be hot enuf otherwise. Didn’t check out the restaurant but everything seems very well maintained. A max of 2 hrs is more than enuf to chk out both place car museum n the science one Ticket price 175/- per adult (combo)
