Reason- An ardent traveller doesn't needs much. And good food fulfils most of their necessary requisitions along with good times and good people around them. As far as good food is concerned such places are like cathedrals for them. First things first, a good catering establishment caters not only good food but also with people grounded enough to know that feedback is the key to success along with humble service. This restaurant stands since 8th decade of the 20th century and has stood the test of time. It was recommended to me by the General Manager of G D Naidu car museum and also by a student with whom I shared my ola cab along with google maps too. Now when we talk about food, it unquestionably belongs to authentic Chettinad cuisine though you won't find it written any where in the hotel or their glowsign boards, they make their food speak for itself. You could either choose an all you can eat option or go with the A' la carte menu. The Mutton curry, chicken curry and mutton biryani are the items I personally feel were outstanding considering their limited menu to withstand taste and quality. The other things which makes them stand apart from other similar establishments is their concern for your satisfaction and eagerness for the feedback. You wont find these attributes at most of the catering establishments. A must visit place for every one who is visiting the city for the first time or any food lover.

Food is highly recommended.We have ordered non veg items and it tasted very awesome. But the crowd management is very poor. We came at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. We couldn't get the parking and we have to park car outside very far away.We couldn't get the parking on weekends and we can expect a very high crowd in this restaurant. That is understandable but we waited for more than half an hour to get a seat. Due to this crowd a lack of proper management we had to sit in a shared sheet at a corner near the kitchen. They could have provided more seats to handle croud. But the food order and delivery process was very smooth. The order was taken within 5 minutes and was served within 10 minutes.

Non veg itemsrecommended are highly recommended.Ambur Mutton biryani and goli soda is my recommended combination . Prices are little bit high but for this food it's okay. If you are non vegetarian food lover then it's a right place for you. Serves varities of non vegetarian food. All dishes taste good. Special leaf parota is good. It's stuffed with chicken and steamed in banana leaf. Non vegetarian meal gives you taste of all 3 food, fish curry, chicken curry or mutton curry. Ideal place to enjoy food with friends and family.
